Hi I'm Elizabeth, owner of Sweet Sugar figurine decorator. My dream began from when I was watching Cake Booss when I was little. I got so inspired from Ralph (fondant sculpture artist) who was making the sculptures and figurines in fondant/modelling chocolate. From that moment I started making little objects from coloured clay, I knew that I was wanting to be a figurine sculpture artist. Years passed when I was in high school and I did a cake decorating course, which taught me on making gumpaste flowers.
Lockdown come in 2020, made it impossible for everyone but for me it opened a new door for me that lead to where I am today with my business. I then began making my first fondant figurine topper which was a mickey mouse! (Fun fact when I started my business officially my first order was a mickey mouse!) From making the mickey mouse, I began to continue with making more other characters. I showed my friends, family the creations that I made and saw that I had potential on starting

I showed my friends, family the creations that I made and saw that I had potential on starting my very own small business with the fondant figurine toppers. From that year on I've loved every minute on what I've done with making my customer vision come to life but most of all see their children's faces light up with excitement when they see the final product!
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
Myself I don't find inspiration, my customers come to me with a style topper that they would like for me to make. Some customers customise the toppers to their own style and colour scheme suited to their liking.
